Recently, His Highness Hereditary Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha agreed to become patron of the Coburger Europa-Preis competition.
Coburger Europa-Preis will be “…given to a school, class, or student groups whose project emphasizes European studies as a whole (or something like that). All entries must be submitted by July 30. Then a jury will determine the winners in four categories: The school prize, Grades 1-4, Grades 5-8, Grades 9-12.”
Any-who, besides receiving a fancy plaque the winners will either attend a performance at the Theaterstückes, receive 1,000 Euros, enjoy an ice-rafting experience in Oberhof, and/or spend a day at Schloss Callenberg where they will enjoy a movie at the prince’s cozy home. Hopefully the movie won’t be something incredibly boring like Twilight. 🙂
