On March 8, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco attended a private concert organized by Hit Music Only held at the Salle des Étoiles in Monaco.
According to the newspaper, Monaco Matin, yesterday’s concert was “…given in partnership of Fight Aids Monaco, the association chaired by Princess Stephanie to help people living with HIV.”

On March 9, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan officially opened the 2013 Jordan-U.S. Business Forum held at the King Hussein Business Park in Amman.
According to the official website for the Jordan-U.S. Business Forum the event was established to:
“…unite key private and public sector leaders from both countries to promote and advance mutually-beneficial business opportunities in Jordan that serve the country and the greater Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It also aims to enable U.S. companies, through Jordan, to expand their businesses in the Levant and wider MENA regions.
The 2013 Forum features both plenary and industry-specific sessions specifically designed to provide valuable insight into the unique competitive advantages that Jordan has to offer for regional businesses in view of the Arab Spring.”

On the evening of Friday, March 8, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover attended a dinner on the occasion of International Women’s Day held at the “…Hotel de Paris with the theme ‘The Role of Women in Humanitarian Associations’…”
The event was organized by the Jeune Chambre Economique de Monaco in collaboration with AMADE Mondiale and the Direction de la Cooperation Internationale. Funds raised during last evening’s event will be donated to the FVS AMADE Burundi.

On Friday, March 8, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia hosted a luncheon on the occasion of International Women’s Day at the royal palace in Belgrade, Serbia.
According to the official website for the royal family, guests in attendance included “…lady ambassadors, wives of high Serbian officials and the wives of ambassadors to Serbia as well as ladies from international organizations in Serbia…”

On Saturday, March 9, 2013, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain was discharged from the La Milagrosa Hospital in Madrid after having an operation for a herniated disc on the lumbosacral area of the spine last Sunday.
According to His Majesty’s surgeon, Dr. Manuel de la Torre Gutiérrez, the old king will continue his rehabilitation, at Palacio de la Zarzuela, for the two to six months, “The first phase will focus on the lower back and later continue with leg exercises…” explains Dr. de la Torre Gutiérrez in a press conference earlier this week.
