On March 26, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, as President of the Prince’s Trust, was at the Odeon Leicester Square in London to attend the “…UK finals of The Prince’s Trust & Samsung Celebrate Success Awards. The awards recognize the achievements of young people supported by The Trust who have succeeded against the odds, improved their chances in life and had a positive impact on their local community.”

On March 26, 1871, HRH Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole Pi’ikoi was born in Kōloa, Kaua’i, Hawai’i. And, today throughout the Hawaiian Islands people have the day off and are celebrating the life of this amazing man.

On March 26, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh was at Fort George in Inverness, Scotland to officially re-open the Highlanders’ Museum. The duke also visited the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders’ War Memorial Youth Club and participated in meeting as well as dinner held at the at the Speculative Society in Edinburgh.

On March 26, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, arrived in Doha, Qatar to participate in the 24th Arab Summit at the Sheraton Hotel.
During today’s inaugural session His Highness The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar gave an opening speech welcoming the “…the kings and leaders of the Arab countries and all the participants and the Arab League Secretary General wishing them all good stay in Doha.”
On March 26, 2013, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan visited an “…orange farms near the Suzaki Imperial Villa in the Shizuoka prefecture…” Meanwhile, Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako, accompanied by their daughter, Princess Aiko, arrived at the Nagano train station. The imperial crown prince family will be on holiday for the next few days.
