TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit Oman.

ccOn Sunday, March 17, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Muscat, Oman for a three-day official visit.

Upon arriving at the Muscat International Airport the royal couple were greeted by the Minister of National Heritage and Culture, Sayyid Haitham Bin Tariq Al Saeed, as well as other government officials. Afterward, the royal couple arrived at Bait Al Baraka  palace where they met with Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed.  Discussions focused on “…bilateral cooperation…” according to various sources.

News Regarding Members of the Norwegian Royal Family. (VIDEO)

Royal family NorwayOn Sunday, March 17, 2013, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway accompanied by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus, and Princess Astrid attended the “…2013 Viessmann FIS Cross-Country Skiing World Cup at the Holmenkollen Ski Arena in Oslo, Norway.”

And, finally, it was announced that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway will visit the United States beginning on May 5-9, 2013.

The crown princely couple will begin their trip in Houston, Texas where they will attend the 2013 Offshore Technology Conference.  Then it’s off to Dallas, Texas where they will tour the Lockheed Martin factory.  The final stop will be San Francisco, California where the crown prince and crown princess will attend the Advanced Technology and Innovation seminar at Stanford University and attend a gala reception at the SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art).

TRHs Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium Visit Thailand. (VIDEO)

PMBelgiumOn the morning of March 17, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium, accompanied by their 170+ business delegation, arrived in Bangkok, Thailand for a six-day visit at “…the invitation of Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand.”

The visit is intended to promote trade between Belgium and Thailand in the areas of “… alternative energy, pharmaceuticals, food and agro-industry, and logistics…” according to the National News Bureau of Thailand.

This afternoon, Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium attended the inauguration of a “…bust in honor of the former Belgian diplomat and at one time the General Advisor to His Majesty King Rama V, Gustave Rolin-Jaequemyns…” at the residence of the current Belgian ambassador to Thailand.

Afterward, the royal couple visited Wat Pho where they “… toured several of the Buddhist temple’s well-known landmarks, including the Reclining Buddha, guided by an English-speaking senior monk.”

Tomorrow, the Prime Minister of Thailand, Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, will host a gala dinner at the Government House in Bangkok, in honor of the royal couple’s visit.
