On Wednesday, December 18, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the Vlerick Alumni’s winter reunion held at the ICC Ghent in, well, Ghent.   🙂

According to the official website for Vlerick Alumni the theme of last evening’s event was:

“…Business has a Contract with Society with an emphasis on children’s and women’s rights. What is the role of companies in monitoring and promoting respect for women’s and children’s rights? How far should companies and governments go in their social engagement?  How can social responsibility be anchored in the strategy and even become beneficial for the company?”
