Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan Visit the Okinawa Peace Memorial Park. (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan accompanied by their son, His Imperial Highness Prince Hisahito of Japan visited the Okinawa Peace Memorial Park in Itoman City in the Okinawa Prefecture.

The imperial family also had a chance to visit a local zoo.

Sweden1On the evening of December 11, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended the 2013 Kungens Middag (King’s Dinner) for the 2013 Nobel Prize Laureates.

The gala dinner was held inside the Karl XI’s Gallery at the royal palace in Stockholm.

powalesOn December 11, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales attended The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy 2013 ceremony held at St. James’s Palace in London.

According to the website, Arts & Business, the award “…celebrates those who support the arts in its widest forms and recognizes the contribution they make to society and throughout the UK cultural landscape.”

The winner’s of The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy 2013 are Lord Rothschild, Lady Bernstein, Ms. Delfina Entrecanales, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Carne, and Mr. and Mrs. Stoutker.

On the evening of December 11, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the Natural History Museum in London to attend “…the screening of David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive 3D…” according to Kensington Palace.

On December 11, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway arrived at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Oslo to participate in the 2013 Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) Conference.

According to the official website for the NORAD conference this year’s theme is “…the results of aid for health and education. The conference will show what results have been achieved and what still remains.”

Members of the Dutch Royal Family Preside Over the 2013 Prins Claus Prijs.

BeatrixOn December 11, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands and Her Royal Highness Princess Mabel of Oranje-Nassau attended the 2013 Prins Claus Prijs held at the Koninklijk Paleis in Amsterdam.

The winner of the prize went to the late Egyptian poet, Mr. Ahmed Fouad Negm.

MathildeOn the morning of December 11, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived at Château de Laeken to attend a reception for “…the suppliers holding a Fournisseurs Brevetes (Royal Appointment)…” according to AFP News.

In the afternoon, Her Majesty accompanied by His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium and Their Royal Highnesses Prince Laurent and Princess Claire of Belgium attended a Christmas concert held at Palais de Bruxelles

Guests listened as Mr. Ludovic Morlot conducted the Orchestre Symphonique de la Monnaie and soloists from the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth performed various works.
