HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s Elephants Arrive at Roc Agel. (VIDEO)
On the early morning of Friday, July 12, 2013, the two Elephants rescued from the Tete d’Or Zoo in Lyon, France by Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco have finally arrived at Roc Agel, the country home/retreat for the members of the Princely family.
Last year the two elephants, named Nepal and Baby, were about to be put down “…when municipal officials in Lyon decided they had almost certainly been infected with Tuberculosis…” according to the newspaper France 24.
Upon hearing the news Princess Stephanie stepped in and saved the two precious elephants. Now, Baby and Nepal are living in a “…38,000 square foot enclosure with a huge wooden shelter and a pool from them to drink from and cool off in…”

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends An Inauguration. (VIDEO)
On July 10, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the new Conseil National de Monaco building to attend the inauguration of an “…artistic creation…” by Mr. Antoine Loudot.
Members of the Belgian Royal Family Host a Luncheon.
On the afternoon of July 12, 2013, Their Majesties King Albert II and Queen Paola of Belgium accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium hosted a luncheon at Château de Laeken for “…Minister-Presidents of the Regions and Communities…” according to the Belgian royal court.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Attends the Coronation Festival Evening Gala at Buckingham Palace.
On the evening of July 11, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall as well as other members of the royal family attended the Coronation Festival Evening Gala held in front of the West Terrace at Buckingham Palace.
According to a Buckingham Palace press release the gala:
“…showcased 60 years of music and dance which connect with the themes of the Coronation Festival — tradition, excellence and innovation. Tonight’s performances featured UK artists such as Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and The Feeling, alongside the National Youth Orchestra and the English National Ballet. The gala performance celebrates the musical journey through Britain and the Commonwealth since The Queen’s Coronation in 1953.”
