On Tuesday, October 30, 2012, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh visited Plymouth University.  Whilst there the duke officially opened the university’s “… £19 million new state-of-the-art marine building, featuring ship simulator and wave tank testing facilities.”   The Duke of Edinburgh also received an Honorary Doctorate of Marine Science “… in recognition of his decorated career in the royal Navy…”

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco in Paris.

On Monday, October 29, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was at the Sénat in Paris to attend a working luncheon organized by the Club des Voitures Ecologiques.

In other news, the sovereign prince will visit Kazakhstan beginning on November 2, 2012.  During his four-day visit Prince Albert II will meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev, visit a cultural and sports facility in Astana, attend the “…opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Principality of Monaco in the presence of many authorities Kazakhstan…” and much more.

The sovereign prince will also attend the opening of the exhibition, The Grace Kelly Years, Princess of Monaco, in Astana.

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal Visits Haverhill, west Suffolk. (VIDEO)

On October 31, 2012, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal was in Haverhill, west Suffolk for a brief visit.  The princess attended the opening of the refurbished Council Offices St. Edmundsbury Borough Council, visited the Genzyme Limited, and attended the opening of the “… new £750,000 sports hall at the Samuel Ward Academy.”

His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias Visits the Centro Nacional de Adiestramiento San Gregorio. (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, October 30, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias was at the Centro Nacional de Adiestramiento San Gregorio in Zaragoza to attend the multinational exercise Interdict-12.

Upon his arrival the prince was welcomed by various military personnel and watched the military training exercise, Interdict-12, an exercise which “…aims to increase the effectiveness against improvised explosive devices and features units of Engineers from the Army, Marines and troops from other countries …”

News Regarding Members of the Spanish Royal Family.

On Monday, October 29, 2012, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain held an audience with the Presidentes de Organizaciones Empresariales Iberoamericanas at Palacio de La Zarzuela.

Meanwhile, Infanta Elena attended the opening of the new temporary exhibition entitled, Goya y el Infante Don Luis: El Exilio y el Reino, at the Exhibition Hall at Palacio Real.

The exhibition features 300 pieces, including seventeen works by Francisco de Goya, as well as Luis Paret and Mariano Salvador Maella to name a few.

H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands Attends a Conference.

On Monday, October 29, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended a conference entitled, Africa Works!, held at the Theater Figi in Zeist.

The two-day conference was organized by the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) and African Studies Centre (ASC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to RVD.

The Africa Works! conference focuses on “…Africa’s position in the world, and looks at the opportunities for African and Dutch entrepreneurs and investors.”
