Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain Attends a Concert in Madrid.

Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain was at the Teatros del Canal in Madrid this evening to attend a performance by opera singer, Ms. Ainhoa Arteta.

The purpose of tonight’s event was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Asociación Nacional Amigos de los Animales (ANAA), a non-profit organization that rescues as well as protects abused and neglected animals in Spain.  Since 1992 the Asociación Nacional Amigos de los Animales has helped over 20,000 abandoned and abused animals. Thankfully, many of the animals have been adopted and are now happy, healthy, and most of all loved!   🙂
