On the morning of Tuesday, October 16, 2012, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain held an audience with professional golfers José María Olazábal, Miguel Angel Jimenez, and Sergio García at Palacio de la Zarzuela. The three men participated in the 2012 Ryder Cup last month at the Medinah Country Club in Illinois.

The Princess Royal visited the J & D Wilkie Ltd at Marywell Works, attended the Angus Branch Annual Autumn Fair at Guthrie Castle, visited Mackays Ltd, and much more.
On October 16, 2012, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex was in Exeter, Devon, to officially open the newly restored Royal Albert Memorial Museum. The Earl also attended the opening of the Montgomery Primary School.
On Tuesday, October 16, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias visited the Centros Integrados de Formación Profesional (Integrated Vocational Training Centers) Juan de Colonia, Simón de Colonia, and the secondary school Camino de Santiago in Burgos, Spain.
During her visit the princess toured the three training facilities as well as participated in a meeting with:
“…center officials to discuss educational projects of different occupational groups and projects being carried out in collaboration with companies and job placement for the centers students.”

On the evening of October 15, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at El Alto International Airport in La Paz, Bolivia to begin her five -day official visit to the lovely South American country.
Today, Her Majesty will meet with Bolivian President, Mr. Juan Evo Morales, at Casa de Gobierno (Government House). The purpose of their meeting is to:
“… facilitate the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries over the destiny of the coins found in the frigate Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes.”

On Tuesday, October 16, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco continued their official visit to Lithuania. This afternoon the princely couple met with Lithuanian Prime Minister, Mr. Andrirus Kubilius and his wife.
