A Very Royal and Cheesy Movie from the ’90s.

Here is one of the cheesiest movies ever made about the marriage between Charles and Diana.  So, if you’re bored and have nothing else better to do on this late Sunday afternoon you might as well watch this 1993 made for TV movie.  The movie stars Catherine Oxenberg and some dude whose career died ages ago.

Here are two documentaries (yes, they are in French) entitled, Les Rois de France: Henri IV and Louis XIV: Les Passions du Roi Soleil.

The final documentary, Palais de L’Elysee, discusses the history of the palais which is now residence of the President of France.

Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden in South Minneapolis. (VIDEO)

On Saturday, October 6, 2012, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden were in South Minneapolis to attend a dedication ceremony for the new Nelson Cultural Center.  Please click here for more information about the event as well as to watch a news report.  To learn more about the Nelson Cultural Center please visit their official website here.

Their Majesties also attended a reception held in their honor at the Governor of Minnesota’s residence, Mark Dayton. According to the newspaper, Twin Cities, Governor Dayton recently proclaimed, “…Saturday as ‘American Swedish Institute Day’…” in recognition of the “… heritage and bonds shared by Minnesota and Sweden.”

On October 6, 2012, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales (also known as The Duke of Rothesay in Scotland) visited “… Ballindalloch Castle to mark the 40th anniversary of the North East Aberdeen-Angus Club and the 150th anniversary of the first volume of the Aberdeen-Angus Herd Book…” The Prince of Wales is patron of the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society.
