On November 29, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a gala banquet for “… the benefit of the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco in Singapore.”
And, finally, the sovereign prince is expected to arrive in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea sometime today. Apparently, he will meet “… scientists involved in the Papua Niugini Biodiversity Expedition (PNBE) in Madang …” according to various sources. The Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco is one of many institutions funding this expedition.
The sovereign prince will also be aboard the “… research vessel Alis and take part in some deep-sea sampling, only if the weather permits. Prince Albert II will take a trip to the Swire Research Station in the Wanang Conservation Area. The expedition seeks to document the marine fauna and flora of Papua New Guinea from the bottom of the Bismarck Sea to the top of Mount Wilhelm…” according to one scientists of the PNBE, Professor Philippe Bouchet.
Any way, prior to his fun-filled research adventures in Papua New Guinea Prince Albert II will attend a reception held in his honor at the Divine Word University.
