On September 13, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje was in Eersel to visit the Vencomatic company.  The business is a:

“… global supplier of innovative and welfare friendly housing solutions for the poultry sector. The flexible and turn key solutions of Vencomatic offers large possibilities for a wide range of poultry production concepts.”

Afterward, the prince opened the Venco Campus, a new building which will house companies that are apart of the Venco Group, and will provide “…space for international research and training on poultry and knowledgeable technical field.”
