Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover Becomes a Grandmother for the Second Time. (VIDEO)

Princess Caroline of HanoverOn late Tuesday, December 17, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover became a grandmother for the second time.

The Palais Princier confirmed that Princess Caroline’s eldest daughter, Miss Charlotte Casiraghi, gave birth to a healthy baby boy at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace in Monaco.  Miss Casiraghi and her boyfriend, Mr. Gad Elmaleh, have named their new son, Raphaël.

Congrats to the couple!   🙂

His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium Presides Over the 2013 Prix Belgodyssée.

belgiumOn Wednesday, December 18, 2013, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium presided over the 2013 Prix Belgodyssée held at the Palais Royal de Bruxelles.

According to the Belgian royal court the Prix Belgodyssée is a competition for aspiring journalists and is an initiative of the Fonds Prince Philippe,  Radio 2 (VRT), and VivaCité (RTBF).

News Regarding TRHs Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden.

vd-2011On the afternoon of December 17, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Estelle of Sweden met with “…the Royal College of Forestry’s student union for the presentation of Christmas trees…” according to the Swedish royal court.

Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Archduke Imre and Archduchess Kathleen of Austria Baptize Their First Child.

486px-Imperial_Coat_of_Arms_of_the_Empire_of_Austria_(1815).svgOn Saturday, December 14, 2013, Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Archduke Imre and Archduchess Kathleen of Austria (aka Imre and Kathleen de Habsbourg-Lorraine) baptized their first child, HI&RH Archduchess Maria-Stella, at the L’eglise Fischbach (Fischbach Church) in Luxembourg.

Guests in attendance included Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, His Royal Highness Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg, Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg, Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Archduke Carl-Christian and Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria (aka de Habsbourg-Lorraine) to name a few.

Archduke Imre and his lovely American-born wife, Kathleen, were married on September 8, 2012, at the Old St. Mary Mother of God Church in Washington D.C.

His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales Visits the Coptic Orthodox Church Centre.

powalesOn Tuesday, December 17, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales  accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad of Jordan visited the Coptic Orthodox Church Centre in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

According to a press release the two princes were warmly welcomed to the center by:

“…His Grace Bishop Angaelos, General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom, with numerous official, government, ecumenical, and inter-religious guests, along with members of the Coptic Orthodox clergy and community.

The visit began with a traditional prayer service, followed by a showcase of the vast number of ministries and strands of services operating under the umbrella of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom including, among others, benevolent work, relief and development, advocacy, youth ministry and inter-religious and ecumenical relations.

Following this, Bishop Angaelos presented two Coptic icons to Their Royal Highnesses, with an icon of Saint George gifted to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and His Royal Highness Prince George.

During the course of the visit there was a private meeting held to discuss the current situation in Egypt and the Middle East and contributions that could be made to offer viable solutions for those affected in the region. This was followed by afternoon tea in Shephalbury Manor during which the Prince of Wales unveiled a commemorative plaque marking the visit, and signed the official guestbook.”
