On December 3, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived at the Volkshuis in Leiden to attend a symposium, organized by the Stichting Ovaal, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Autismecafé.
According to RVD, Autismecafé “…offers parents of children with Autism, through themed parties, the opportunity to obtain information and help from experts and an opportunity to meet other parents who have children with Autism.”
On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan continued their six-day official visit to India.
This morning Their Imperial Majesties visited the India International Center (IIC) in New Delhi “…fifty-three years after the [imperial couple] laid the foundation of the IIC…” according to the newspaper, Asahi Shimbun. During their visit the imperial couple met with various dignitaries and viewed a photo exhibition “…commemorating their 1960 visit…” Their Imperial Majesties also visited a Japanese school in New Delhi where they met with staff and students.
In the afternoon, Empress Michiko met with members of the International Board on Books for Young People while Emperor Akihito held a meeting with the Leader of Opposition in the 15th Lok Sabha, Ms. Sushma Swaraj.
In the evening, Their Imperial Majesties attended a gala reception held in their honor.
On December 2, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden accompanied by members of the Prins Daniel Fellowship visited Umeå Universitet and the Dragonskolan in Umeå, northern Sweden.
Whilst the Dragonskolan the prince spoke with students about entrepreneurship according to the Swedish royal court. In the afternoon, the prince and members of the Prins Daniel Fellowship visited Umeå Universitet where once again Prince Daniel spoke to students about — you guessed it — entrepreneurship.
On the evening of Monday, December 2, 2013, King Albert II and Queen Paola of Belgium arrived at the Hôtel Plaza in Brussels to attend the Fondation Reine Paola Christmas concert.
Guests in attendance listened as Mr. Peter Van Heyghen conducted Les Muffatti (Brussels Baroque Orchestra) perform George Frideric Handel’s cantata, Apollo e Dafne.
On Sunday, December 1, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia officially opened the International Women’s Club Bazaar at the Belgrade Fair in, well, Belgrade.

On December 2, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held an audience with the Section for Relations with States Roman Curia (Vatican), Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, at Al-Hummar Palace in Amman.
Discussions focused on “…ways to boost relations between Jordan and the Vatican to help in consolidating the values of tolerance, love and coexistence among all nations…” according to Petra News.
