On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan accompanied by their son, His Imperial Highness Prince Hisahito of Japan visited the Okinawa Peace Memorial Park in Itoman City in the Okinawa Prefecture.
The imperial family also had a chance to visit a local zoo.
On the evening of December 11, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended the 2013 Kungens Middag (King’s Dinner) for the 2013 Nobel Prize Laureates.
The gala dinner was held inside the Karl XI’s Gallery at the royal palace in Stockholm.

According to the website, Arts & Business, the award “…celebrates those who support the arts in its widest forms and recognizes the contribution they make to society and throughout the UK cultural landscape.”
The winner’s of The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy 2013 are Lord Rothschild, Lady Bernstein, Ms. Delfina Entrecanales, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Carne, and Mr. and Mrs. Stoutker.
On December 11, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich to attend the 2013 A Night of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards’ Ceremony.
On the evening of December 11, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the Natural History Museum in London to attend “…the screening of David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive 3D…” according to Kensington Palace.
Earlier in the afternoon, Their Royal Highnesses paid their respects to the late Nelson Mandela when they visited the South Africa House in London.
