On November 11, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias arrived at the Centro de Congresos Príncipe Felipe in Madrid to preside over the 7th Conferencia del Programa Marco de Investigación e Innovación de la Unión Europea en España. The theme of this year’s conference is Horizonte 2020: Del Conocimiento a la Innovación.
On Monday, November 11, 2013, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day visit to India.
This morning The Prince of Wales visited the Haji Ali Dargah Mosque in Mumbai while the duchess visited the Vandana Foundation.
In the afternoon, the royal couple arrived in Kerala where they visited the Kerala Folklore Museum and Theatre and attended an evening reception “…for Keralan civic and business leaders, to help strengthen the bilateral relationship between the UK and India…” according to Clarence House.

On November 11, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at the Centro Cultural Conde Duque in Madrid to attend the inauguration of a special exhibition in celebration of the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID).
The exhibition displays the history of “…works done by the AECID within the last 25 years.”
On Monday, November 11, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark began their three-day official visit to Mexico City, Mexico at the invitation of the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto.
According to the Danish royal court the purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral ties in the areas of health, agriculture, and climate-friendly technology between Mexico and Denmark.
The day began with a visit to the Fundación CTHDUCA where the crown prince couple were “…introduced to the foundation’s work with education and care for people with Down’s Syndrome.”
Soon, they were off to visit the Museo Nacional de Antropología where they viewed several exhibits. Two hours later the crown prince couple met with the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto and First Lady Angélica Rivera de Peña, at Los Pinos.
Later in the afternoon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the Papalote Museo del Niño, and then met with the mayor of Mexico City, Miguel Ángel Mancera Espinosa, where he gave the crown prince couple the keys to the city.
In the evening, future king and queen of Denmark will attend a charity concert at El Plaza Condesa featuring a performance by some Danish band I never heard of. Sorry. 🙁
