This morning Her Majesty visited the Zoo Aquarium de Madrid in Casa de Campo in Madrid. During the visit Her Majesty had a chance to meet with staff and cuddle cute baby Pandas.
In the afternoon, Her Majesty attended the XXIV Edition of the Premio Tomás Francisco Prieto de Medallística held at the Museo Casa de la Moneda in Madrid. During today’s award ceremony Her Majesty presented artist, Ms. Cristina Iglesias, with 2013 Premio Tomás Francisco Prieto de Medallística. After the ceremony, Her Majesty opened the new exhibition, Inicios, by Mr. Juan Navarro.
On November 28, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held an audience at Al-Hummar Palace in Amman with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Mr. António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres.
According to Petra News, during the meeting His Majesty and Mr. Guterres “…discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan the Commission in respect of services provided by the Kingdom for Syrian refugees…”
