On Tuesday, August 13, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan visited the Civil Defense Department in Amman.
During their visit His Majesty and the crown prince met with Lt. General Talal Al-Kofahi who informed them about the “…civil defense duties and achievements, the developmental projects as part of the strategic plan which included bilateral agreements with other civil defense departments…” according to Petra News.
This morning His Majesty met with the United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, at Al-Hummar Palace in Amman. During their meeting discussions focused on cooperation and coordination between the Jordanian and United States Armed Forces and ways to strengthen bilateral ties.
On Wednesday, August 14, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge arrived at the Anglesey Agricultural Showground in Gwalchmai on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales to attend the final day of the 2013 Anglesey Agricultural County Show.
The two-day show features:
“…competitive classes for dairy and beef cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, shire horses, light horses, poultry, rabbits and pigeons, horticulture, crafts, cookery and dry stone walling. It’s a show for every member of the family. [There are] over 350 trade stands, entertainment marquee and country pursuits area and much more…”

His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden visited Ockelbolägret (Ockelbo camp) this morning to hang out with those attending, well, camp. Anyway, upon his arrival the prince was warmly greeted by various officials and of course the campers themselves.
Soon, Prince Daniel and those attending Ockelbolägret toured Älgparken where they met cute animals, including a giant Moose, and visited the Vildmarksgalleriet.
This morning RVD announced that the funeral for His Royal Highness the late Prince Johan Friso of Oranje-Nassau will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013, in Lage Vuursche in the municipality of Baarn in the province of Utrecht. Lage Vuursche is just east of Kasteel Drakesteyn the residence of Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands.
The private funeral will be led by Reverend C.A. ter Linden. RVD also notes that “…after a service in the Stulpkerk in Lage Vuursche the Prince will be laid to rest in the adjacent cemetery. A memorial service for Prince Friso will be held later in the year.”
