SwedenVictoriaDanielOn Friday, May 3, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden continued their visit to the province of Västra Götaland.  Today, the royal couple visited Fryshuset in Göteborg and Bräcke Östergård.

Meanwhile, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden toured Uppsala County according to the Swedish royal court.  The reigning couple visited a dairy farm in Harbo, visited the companies Sublift AB, Svensk Kärnbränslehanterings (SKB), and Industrial Hydraulics AB, toured the town of Östhammar where Their Majesties toured the Town Hall Square, and finally attended a dinner at Uppsala Slott.

TRHs Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg Visit the Lycée Technique Hôtelier Alexis Heck.

gsOn Friday, May 3, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg were in Diekirch to visit the Lycée Technique Hôtelier Alexis Heck.

According to the newspaper, Wort, the purpose of today’s visit was to “…say thanks to 70 students who were involved in cooking and serving the wedding banquet at Guillaume and Stéphanie’s wedding on October 19, 2012.”

His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales Visits Poundbury.

PoWbwHis Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset this afternoon to “…view an exhibition documenting the development of Poundbury over the past 20 years” according to the official website for the prince.

Afterward, the prince attended a reception where he mingled with locals and cuddled cute babies.  The Prince of Wales also visited Cambridge Court where he unveiled a nice shiny new plaque “….marking the building’s official opening…”

News Regarding His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco. (VIDEO)

On May 2, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco visited the “…the second installment of the new state housing of the Jardins d’Appoline…”  The new buildings contains 116 apartments and meets all the latest environmental standards.. blah blah blah.  So, yeah, these buildings seem to be pretty fancy schmancy for government housing.  You won’t see this in the United States.  Then again it is Monaco.

Her Royal Highness Princess Theodora of Greece Attends the 7th Annual Britweek Design Icon Award.

tedLast Friday, Her Royal Highness  Princess Theodora of Greece, known as Theodora Greece in the entertainment business, attended the 7th Annual Britweek- Design Icon Award held at the Christopher Guy Showroom in West Hollywood, CA.

The recipient of the award went to Mr. Ian Callum, Design Director for Jaguar, for his “…significant contributions to British design.”

PMBelgiumOn the morning Friday, May 3, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium presided over the 12th Edition of the Prix Princesse Mathilde held at the Palais de Bruxelles.  The theme of this year’s award is “…La Force des Pères and the father’s role in education.”

TIHs Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan Arrive in Tokyo. (VIDEOS)

After spending several days in the Netherlands to attend the investiture of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan have finally returned home to Tokyo this morning.

Upon their arrival at the Haneda Airport the imperial couple were warmly greeted by the President of the House of Councilors, Mr. Kenji Hirata, as well as other government officials. Soon, the crown prince and crown princess arrived at Togu Palace where they were greeted by their lovely daughter, Princess Aiko of Japan.

The Imperial Household Agency issued a statement from Crown Princess Masako regarding her visit to the Netherlands, “…we are very pleased that we were able to visit the Netherlands together to attend the coronation.  I have received from the people a warm welcome and understanding so far… I would like to sincerely thank them and also to the public.”
