HMKAofJordanOn April 10, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held an audience with Armenian Apostolic Patriarch of Jerusalem and Jordan, Archbishop Nurhan Manougian, in Amman.  According to the Petra News Agency discussions focused on the preservation of:

“…the Arab, Islamic and Christian identity of Jerusalem, support Jerusalemites and help them in the face of challenges and difficult times they are living through.  His Majesty also stressed his desire to enhance values of tolerance, love, coexistence and brotherhood between Muslims and Christians and maximize what they have in common.”

His Majesty King Abdullah II also held an audience with the Bahraini Foreign Minister, Sheikh Khaled Bin Ahmad Bin Mohammad Al Khalifah.  Discussions focused on “…boosting bilateral ties in various fields between the two countries, the current situation in the Middle East, the Syrian crisis, and efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.”
