His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani of Qatar Goes to Washington!

EmirofQatarOn the morning April 23, 2013, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani of Qatar and his delegation arrived at the Naval Observatory for a quaint breakfast meeting with Vice President Joe Biden.  So what did they talk about over coffee and donuts you may ask?  Well, the usual of course: bilateral relations, international issues and perhaps they talked about last Sunday’s NBA game between the Lakers and Spurs in which the Lakers lost 91-79.  Or, maybe they talked about the six Greek Islands His Highness recently purchased for a bargain price of 8.5 million Euros.  Who knows.

Anyway, six hours later His Highness arrived at the White House to meet with President Barack Obama.  Discussions inside the Oval Office focused on the Syrian crisis and bilateral relations between the U.S. and Qatar according to various sources.
