The following six women are depicted: The explorer Alexandrine Tinne, the writer Belle van Zuylen Utrecht heroine of the ‘Eighty Years War Trijn of Leemput’, the painter Mary Oosterwijck, the land lady Mary of Burgundy and the theologian Anna Zernike.”
