On Monday, November 5, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias presided over the inauguration of the Congreso Literario El Canon del Boom and to “… commemorate the 50th anniversary of the publication of the novel, La Ciudad y los Perros, and ‘Boom Latino Americano.'” Today’s event was held at Casa de América in Madrid.
On November 11, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands attended the opening of the European Youth Parliament held inside the Hall of Knights in Den Haag.
On Monday, November 5, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands was at the Paleis Huis ten Bosch in Den Haag to preside over the “… swearing in of the new centrist Dutch government under Prime Minister Mark Rutte…”
The ceremony, which lasted three minutes, took place inside the Oranje Hall.

During his recent visit to Kazakhstan, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Yerlan Idrissov, participated in the opening of the new Consulate of Monaco in Astana.
And, finally, the sovereign prince will make an official visit to Ankara and Istanbul, Turkey beginning on November 6-7, 2012.

On Monday, November 5, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Queensland, Australia as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebration tour.
The royal couple arrived at Longreach Airport where they were greeted by the Governor General of Australia, Ms. Quentin Bryce, as well as other government officials.
