During the award ceremony the prince presented medals as well as flowers to the winners. When asked what he thought of today’s race the prince replied, “It was a fantastic championship!” On the final day of the race over 200, 000 cycling fans came out to cheer for their favorite racer.

The gala dinner raised money for the charities, Cékedubonheur and Jeune J’écoute. Guests at the event included NBA basketball star, Tony Parker and his girlfriend, Omar Sy, Inna Modja, and many more.
Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover is patron of the Jeune J’écoute charity who also celebrated their 30th anniversary last night.
On September 22, 1761, the coronation of His Majesty King George III took place at Westminster Abbey. He was 22 years old. So, in honor of one of my favorite royals of all time here is the 1994 film, The Madness of King George.
