On April 6, 2022, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived at the historic home of Lord and Lady Inglewood, Hutton-in-the-Forest, near the town of Penrith to meet with members of the “…Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership to hear about the challenges they face since the changes in support schemes for agriculture.”

On the evening of Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended a special dance performance offered by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind and First Lady Savita Kovind, at the Muziekgebouw Aant IJ in Amsterdam.

The Kalakshetra Foundation dance company performed, Ramayana: A Dance Drama, on the “…occasion of the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between The Netherlands and India…” in a statement released by RVD.

Sweden’s Royal Family Attend a Glittering Gala Dinner in Stockholm: Tiaras Galore!

On the evening of Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden along with Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden, and Princess Christina and her husband, Mr. Tord Magnuson attended the Representationsmiddag (Representation Dinner) held at the Kungliga Slottet in Stockholm.

According to the Swedish royal court, Their Majesties invited over 150 guests from all over Sweden who have “…made significant contributions locally, regionally and nationally…”

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales celebrated the 50th anniversary of Tebay Services Farmshop in Penrith, Cumbria, England.

Established in 1972 by John and Barbara Dunning, the Tebay Services Farmshop:

During today’s visit, His Royal Highness met with members of the Dunning family, staff and tasted some delicious foods.

Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan Meets with Women at the Famous Al-Karak Castle for Iftar.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan met with a group of women for Iftar at the famous Al-Karak Castle in Jordan.

According to a press release, Her Majesty The Queen where she commended the women for their contributions to local society who are active in the fields of education, social welfare, culture, volunteer work, and charitable efforts.

After the breaking of fast (Iftar), Her Majesty expressed her warm wishes for the holy month of Ramadan to the accomplished women in attendance and their families, adding that she has sorely missed these pleasant gatherings.

” ‘I am very happy to be here during the first week of Ramadan, surrounded by my sisters, the devoted women of Al Karak,’ Queen Rania said.

‘Ramadan is always a month of goodwill, blessings, and reconnecting with loved ones, but this year it feels even more special than usual – perhaps because we have been unable to get together for Iftar like this for the past two years,’ she added.

In turn, the Governor of Al Karak, Mohammad Fayez, thanked Her Majesty for her work to uplift the lives of people across the country. He went on to highlight the positive feedback of a group of women participating in an Umrah mission organized by the Queen this Ramadan.

A total of 550 women hailing from across Jordan will perform the lesser pilgrimage to Mecca as part of the mission throughout the holy month, the first group of whom left Jordan on Tuesday.”

HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway Attends Rosa Sko-Dagen in Oslo.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended Rosa Sko-Dagen (Pink Shoe Day) at Linderud multi-purpose hall in Oslo.

Rosa Sko-Dagen, organized by the Bjerke Upper Secondary School, aims to encourage young women, in particular immigrants who recently moved to Norway, to participate in various sports including football. According to the Norwegian newspaper, Adressa, roughly “…430 young women from various primary schools throughout Groruddalen attended today’s event at Linderud…”

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited the home of the legendary British author, Jane Austen, in Chawton, England.

Upon her arrival, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall was warmly greeted by staff, the Director of the Jane Austen house, Ms. Lizzie Dunford as well as Trustees of the Jane Austen House, Ms. Isabel Hughes and Professor Kathryn Sutherland.

According to the official website for the Jane Austen House, Her Royal Highness:

“…viewed the Drawing Room, where Jane Austen herself read aloud from her very own copy of Pride and Prejudice the day before its publication in 1813; the Dining Room, where Austen wrote and where her precious writing table remains; first editions of Austen’s novels; two of Austen’s letters, both written at the cottage; topaz cross necklaces belonging to Jane and her sister, Cassandra; family portrait miniatures and the iconic Mr Darcy white shirt worn by Colin Firth in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice…”
