Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan Visit the ABB Training Center in Berlin, Germany

In Berlin, Germany, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan visited the ABB Training Center, one of the German capital’s largest industrial and vocational education facilities.

According to the Royal Hashemite Court, the visit focused on technical and vocational education and the exchange of expertise between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of Jordan in areas connected to industrial development and national infrastructure projects.

During the visit, the Crown Prince spoke positively about Germany’s vocational training model and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the center and Jordanian institutions, particularly in sectors requiring highly trained technical personnel.

The Crown Prince also referenced Jordan’s National Water Conveyance Project and planned railway initiatives, noting the importance of developing a qualified workforce capable of supporting large-scale strategic projects.

Their Royal Highnesses also received briefings on the center’s training programs in robotics, automation, and digitalisation before touring workshops and industrial simulation facilities designed to provide trainees with practical technical experience.

Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan Meets with Women at the Famous Al-Karak Castle for Iftar.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan met with a group of women for Iftar at the famous Al-Karak Castle in Jordan.

According to a press release, Her Majesty The Queen where she commended the women for their contributions to local society who are active in the fields of education, social welfare, culture, volunteer work, and charitable efforts.

After the breaking of fast (Iftar), Her Majesty expressed her warm wishes for the holy month of Ramadan to the accomplished women in attendance and their families, adding that she has sorely missed these pleasant gatherings.

” ‘I am very happy to be here during the first week of Ramadan, surrounded by my sisters, the devoted women of Al Karak,’ Queen Rania said.

‘Ramadan is always a month of goodwill, blessings, and reconnecting with loved ones, but this year it feels even more special than usual – perhaps because we have been unable to get together for Iftar like this for the past two years,’ she added.

In turn, the Governor of Al Karak, Mohammad Fayez, thanked Her Majesty for her work to uplift the lives of people across the country. He went on to highlight the positive feedback of a group of women participating in an Umrah mission organized by the Queen this Ramadan.

A total of 550 women hailing from across Jordan will perform the lesser pilgrimage to Mecca as part of the mission throughout the holy month, the first group of whom left Jordan on Tuesday.”
