The King and Queen of the Netherlands Visit Curaçao; Day 2. (VIDEO)

KingWAOn Tuesday, November 19, 2013, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands continued their tour of the island of Curaçao.

This morning Their Majesties left the capital of Willemstad and drove to West Point located — you guessed it — on western part of the island.  Anyway, the reigning couple visited a local fishing village where hundreds of people came out to see them.  Thereafter, they visited the Tula Museum.

In the afternoon, Their Majesties travelled to Fort Amsterdam, on the eastern side of the island, where they visited the Fortchurch Museum, mingled with locals, and attended a reception with the governor.
