On November 5, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the opening session of the 5th Meeting of the Parties to Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans in the Black Sea Mediterranean Sea and Contiguous Atlantic Area (ACCOBAMS) held at the Mövenpick Hotel and Casino in Tangier, Morocco.
The ACCOBAMS is a:
“…cooperative tool for the conservation of marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. Its purpose is to reduce threats to cetaceans in Mediterranean and Black Sea waters and improve our knowledge of these animals.”
