On Thursday, September 5, 2013, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived at the Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn where His Majesty was presented with the first copy of the book, Droomboek.
The aim of the book is to “…inspire each other and the new king. The Nationaal Comité Inhuldiging asked everyone [the Dutch people], young and old, to share their dreams for the future of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.”
Thereafter, Their Majesties opened the new outdoor exhibition entitled, Dromen op Paleis Het Loo: Wandel Door de Dromen Voor de Koning, at the Paleis Het Loo. According to the Nationaal Comité Inhuldiging visitors who wish to view this special exhibition will walk:
“…along the avenue that leads from the royal stables to the palace. Towering arches with flags display a selection of the poems from the Droomboek. Visitors can stroll under the arches and admire over 120 dreams from the book, expressed in wishes, poems, drawings and paintings.”
