His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, as patron of the Stichting Nederlandse Vioolconcoursen, was at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam this afternoon to attend the Oskar Back Vioolconcours finals. During today’s event the younger brother of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje presented various prizes to several talented violinists participating in the competition according to RVD.
His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Madrid, Spain on this morning to meet with His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain at Palacio de la Zarzuela. The purpose of the one-day visit was to “…discuss bilateral ties and boost relations in all fields as well as the latest developments in the Middle East.”
Prior to arriving in Madrid, His Majesty King Abdullah II also visited the “….Jordanian peacekeeping contingent operating in Haiti…” according to the Petra News Agency.
Earlier this week His Majesty visited Washington D.C., where he held an important meeting with President Barack Obamaas well as with Vice President Joe Biden, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, John Boehner, and a host of other important U.S. government officials.

After a successful official visit to the United States of America and brief trips to Haiti as well as Spain His Majesty King Abdullah II finally returns home to Jordan.
On Sunday, April 28, 2013, Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan departed from Haneda Airport in Tokyo to begin their long journey to the Netherlands.
The Imperial couple will be attending the upcoming inauguration of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje on April 30, 2013, at the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam. The visit will last six-days and depending on Crown Princess Masako’s health, she may attend other celebrations in the Netherlands according to the Imperial Household Agency.
On Saturday, April 27, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Canadian Regiment, presented new Colors to the 3rd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment at Queen’s Park in Toronto.
