Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Strathearn, aka The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, arrived in Glasgow, Scotland for a two-day visit on April 4, 2013.

This morning the royal couple visited the Emirates Arena in Glasgow where they met with “…organizers and budding athletes participating in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, and unveiled a commemorative plaque marking their visit.”  The royal couple also visited the Quarriers Stopover Project, “…a place for young homeless people run by the charity, Quarriers, and visited the Donald Dewar Leisure Centre in Drumchapel where they launched a new Scottish project for their foundation.”

News Regarding Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia.

serbiaOn the evening of April 3, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia hosted a gala dinner at the White Palace for members of the diplomatic corps in Serbia.  Please click here for more information about last evening’s gathering.

And, finally, this afternoon the crown prince couple officially opened the “…20th traditional Easter Bazaar of handicrafts of women refugees at the Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade.”  Click here to read more about today’s opening.

His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden Visits the Company, Drivhuset.

danielOn April 3, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden visited the company, Drivhuset, in Uppsala, Sweden.  The company helps entrepreneurs and business owners achieve their goals through “…personal evaluation, business development, training and access to an office environment.  The company also has an online forum where young  entrepreneurs and business owners can exchange ideas and share experiences, tips and knowledge with each other.”

News Regarding His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje.

WAOn the morning of April 4, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje visited the Jongerencentrum Jimmy’s (Jimmy’s Youth Center) in Stadskanaal.

According to RVD, the youth center is a “…new concept for youth centers where young people are used to help their peers.”  During his visit the future king of the Netherlands met with staff and youths at the center.

In the afternoon, Prince Willem-Alexander visited the EnTranCe (Energy Transition Center) a “…a laboratory for applied research that industry, government and education can collaborate on future energy supply.”  

From there the prince travelled to Groningen where he opened the new office, GasTerra.  According to RVD, the office building was:

“…completely rebuilt and redeveloped so that it meets the highest demands in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.  GasTerra is an international company trading in natural gas contributing to the Dutch and European gas supply. The company promotes the safe and efficient use of natural gas and is committed to the development of clean and efficient gas application.”
