Also, it was announced that the royal couple will attend the inauguration/investiture of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Orange as king at the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam on April 30, 2013.

TMs King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden Begin Their State Visit to Croatia.

swedenTheir Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden began their three-day state visit to Croatia this morning.  Upon their arrival at the Presidential Palace in Zagreb, Their Majesties were warmly welcomed by the President of Croatia, Mr. Ivo Josipovic and First Lady, Tatjana Josipovic.

In the afternoon, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and his delegation participated in a meeting with President Josipovic and various Croatian government officials participated in a “…bilateral meeting.”  Meanwhile, Her Majesty Queen Silvia and First Lady Tatjana Josipovic visited the National Archives in Zagreb.

HM Queen Rania of Jordan Visits a School in Madaba.

Queen RaniaHer Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan visited the Al Ma’mounieh Secondary School for Boys in Madaba in central Jordan this morning where she met with “…teachers, students, parents and local community leaders who had worked together to improve the health standards in the school… ”

The Al Ma’mounieh Secondary School for Boys recently received the gold accreditation in the Healthy School Accreditation Program implemented by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) according to the Petra News Agency.
