On Monday, November 12, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands participated in the conference entitled, The Future of Banking, held at the Convention Factory in Amsterdam.
In her capacity as a special advocate of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in the field of Inclusive Finance for Development, the princess was asked to give the opening during today’s event according to RVD.
On November 11, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their visit to New Zealand as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. This morning the royal couple participated in Remembrance Day “… in tribute to New Zealand’s fallen soldiers.”

Prior to their arrival the royal couple visited Canberra, Australia where they “…laid a wreath at the Australian War Memorial…” as well as met with Australian Prime Minister, Ms. Julia Gillard.
