In her capacity as a special advocate of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in the field of Inclusive Finance for Development, the princess was asked to give the opening during today’s event according to RVD.
On November 11, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their visit to New Zealand as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. This morning the royal couple participated in Remembrance Day “… in tribute to New Zealand’s fallen soldiers.”
