Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend the Bal de la Croix-Rouge Monégasque. (VIDEO)

On the evening of August 3, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the Bal de la Croix-Rouge Monégasque held at inside the Salle Des Etoiles at the Sporting de Monte-Carlo. Also, in attendance were dozens of Monégasque government officials, Mr. Gareth Wittstock and his beautiful girlfriend, Roisin, the sovereign prince’s cousin, Mr. Chris Le Vine and his lovely wife, Baroness Elizabeth-Anne de Massy and her daughter, Melanie-Antoinette, Camilla of Bourban-Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro and her husband Charles as well as hundreds of heavily tanned billionaires and millionaires with incredibly white teeth.

Guests paid up to 1,000 Euros to attend this famous gala ball which raises money for the Red Cross.  The theme this year is “technological contemporary” (what ever that means) with the Salle des Etoiles decorated in “… black, red and white tones.”  Apparently, over 8,000 black roses as well as white orchids filled the entire room.  Amazing!   🙂

This years musicals guests include former drug addict and now sober, Boy George, and an acoustic set by the aging rock band The Scorpions to name a few.  Also, during tonight’s ball there was a “…tombola… the top prize a diamond encrusted brooch by Repossi…” according to the Monaco Times.

Enjoy watching Prince Albert boogie on the dance floor whilst lip syncing to Hues Corporation’s “Rock the Boat”   🙂 

Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal Enjoys Day 7 of the London Olympics.

Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal was at the Velodrome to watch Track Cycling alongside His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent.  And, once again, Team GB won the gold medal in the Men’s Team Pursuit.  Team Australia won the silver and Team New Zealand took home the bronze.

In the afternoon, the princess attended the Men’s Field Hockey Match, Group A, at the Riverbank Arena.  Team GB dominated Team Pakistan with the final score of 4-1.

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands and Family Enjoy Day Seven of the London Olympics.

 

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands along with their daughters watched Team Netherlands participate in the Team and Individual Dressage Grand Prix events held at Greenwich Park on August 3, 2012.

The family cheered as rider Adelinde Cornelissen came in 2nd in the Individual Dressage event with a score of 81.687. Rider Edward Gal came in 11th with a score of 75.395.  In the team event Netherlands came in 3rd with a score of 76.809.

 

 

Members of the British Royal Family Enjoy Day 6 of the London Olympic Games.

On August 2, 2012, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh along with Their Royal Highnesses the Earl and Countess of Wessex attended the Men’s Lightweight Boxing match held at the ExCel Arena in London. The royals cheered as they watched Josh Taylor of Team GB and Domenico Valentino of Team Italy beat the crap out of each other.  Sadly, Mr. Taylor lost.  The score: 15-10.

Across town Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal watched the Men’s Double Trap Shooting Final held at the Royal Artillery Barracks. Mr. Peter Wilson of Team GB won the gold medal.   🙂

Meanwhile, Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Men’s Singles Quarterfinal match to support Mr. Andy Murray of Team GB who was playing against Mr. Nicolas Almagro of Team Spain.  So, who won?  Mr. Murray of Team GB, of course.   🙂

Afterward, the royal couple along with the ever present third wheel of the bunch (I’m kidding) His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales as well as Their Royal Highnesses the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal and her husband, Mr. Timothy Laurence, attended the Men’s Team Sprint Final in Track Cycling.

The royal family along with 6,000 fans clapped and screamed inside the Velodrome for Team GB cyclists Philip Hindes, Sir Chris Hoy and Jason Kenny.  The cycling trio won the gold medal and set a world record.  Team France received the silver medal and Team Germany won the bronze.

Members of the Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg Meet with Members of Team Luxembourg. (VIDEO)

On Thursday, August 2, 2012, His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg along with Their Royal Highnesses Princess Alexandra and Prince Félix as well as Prince Louis and Princess Tessy met with members of Team Luxembourg in London.  

The grand-ducal family spoke with swimmers Laurent Carnol and Raphael Stacchiotti, Table Tennis player Ni Xia Lian, Archer Jeff Henckels, and several others.

Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco Visits Deutsches Haus in London. (VIDEOS)

On Wednesday evening Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco visited Deutsches Haus in London along with former Olympic swimmer and close friend, Ms. Franziska van Almsick.

The two friends visited Deutsches Haus to celebrate the accomplishments of Team Germany so far in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games… if that makes any sense.

Other guests who attended last night’s party included German government officials, Tennis star Boris Becker, and Team Germany gymnast Marcel Nguyen who just won the silver medal in the Men’s Individual All-Around to name a few.

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands and Family Enjoy Day 6 of the 2012 London Olympics.

On August 2, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands along with their daughters as well as niece enjoyed Day 6 of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

The royal family got up bright and early to watch  Marleen van Iersel and Sanne Keizer of Team Netherlands play against Maria Zonta and Ana Gallay of Team Argentina in Women’s Beach Volleyball, Group D-Match #31.  Team Netherlands won, 2-0.

In the afternoon, the royal family headed on over to the Riverbank Arena to cheer on Team Netherlands in Women’s Field Hockey, Group A-Match #15.  Team Netherlands battled it out against Team China.  Final score: 0-1. Team Netherlands won.
