His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Sends a Letter of Congratulations to François Hollande

After winning the French presidency on Sunday, May 6, 2012, Mr. François Hollande has received many letters of congratulations from world leaders as well as heads of state.  This morning His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco sent his warmest congrats stating:

I want to express my congratulations on your assumption of the supreme responsibility of President of the Republic and warm wishes for the success of your mission in the service of France, in national unity, in a complex period marked by crisis.

You know my commitment to the quality of relations between the French Republic and the Principality of Monaco. We can make sure the continued existence of links forged by history for so long by the preservation of the environment, the issue of the Mediterranean, treaty of union between its banks, instead of the dialogue of civilizations, are areas where our two countries can cooperate together.

You know my availability to work with you in this regard and on many other topics of common interest. I ask you sincerely, Sir, the assurance of my high consideration.

Albert de Monaco
