His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg Visits Canada

His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg along with the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Mr. Etienne Schneider, and a Luxembourg business delegation are currently in Canada on an economic mission.

The future grand duke of Luxembourg began his trip in Montreal where he met with the Premier of Quebec, Mr. Jean Charest. Afterward, Mr. Schneider and the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume participated in a conference entitled, ‘L’innovation, Clé de l’avenir économique Européen’,  with the “…the members of the Council of international relations of Montréal (CORIM)” held at the Hôtel Sofitel Montréal.  Themes at the conference included the contributions of Luxembourg in support of European economic development as well as economic relations between Luxembourg-Canada, Quebec.

According to the website, Gouvernement Luxembourg, Hereditary Grand Duke and his business delegation will “… also visit the ‘Neighborhood Park Extension’ one of the activities in the field of the solidarity economy in Canada.”

Tomorrow, His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Mr. Etienne Schneider, and their Luxembourg business delegation will visit Toronto.
