Sketches of the Upcoming Princely Wedding in Monaco

In this week’s French magazine, Point de Vue, there is an artist’s interpretation of what the upcoming princely wedding in Monaco may look like.  Now, these are not the actual details; however, the artist does give the viewer an insight as to what could be.  From the grand religious ceremony at the Palais Princier de Monaco to the sumptuous reception at the Musée Océanographique.

Overall, the impressions are quite lovely and grand.

If you happen to run across the latest issue of Point de Vue I highly recommend you purchase it.

  1. This is the wedding Im looking forward to Charlene will look so pretty, more so that Williams wedding, as I know they will put all on over on the little island in Monaco!!

    • I feel the same. I am looking forward to the princely wedding in Monaco more than the British royal wedding.

I am sure both weddings will be lovely in the end.

      🙂

  3. I don’t understand why the marriage is not taking place within the Cathedral. Surely, that is the proper place to have a royal wedding, not on the Palace steps in the outside courtyard.

    • I am puzzled as well, Leanna.

It would have been nice to see the wedding, between HSH Prince Albert II and Charlene, take place at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-Immaculée, but alas it won’t happen.

Perhaps it is due to many invited guests or something else. Rumors have been running rampant on some royal discussion boards that the reason why the couple decided not to marry at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-Immaculée was because Charlene was not Catholic. However, what some do not realize is that she recently converted to Catholicism (she was a Protestant.) So that cannot be the reason.

      🙂
