Random Royal News Regarding His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg, Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde of Belgium and His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium.

On March 29, 2012, His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg, accompanied by Ms. Françoise Hetto-Gaasch, visited REKA printing.  Their heir to the grand-ducal throne toured the company’s facilities as well as production line, attended a presentation of REKA’s current activities, and much more.  For more information about the visit to REKA please click here. (article should be up soon.)   🙂

Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde of Belgium continued her visit to Albania as a special representative for Immunization with the World Health Organization.  Today the princess visited the town of Bushat and then toured various health care centers in Shkodër to promote the importance of vaccination.

And, finally, His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium held an audience with the Minister of Public Enterprises, Science Policy and Development Cooperation, Mr. Paul Magnette, at Château de Laeken.

Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Visits Luxembourg: Day Two (VIDEOS)

On March 21, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands continued her state visit to lovely Luxembourg.  First, Her Majesty along with the Grand Duke Henri visited Belval, located in south Luxembourg, to view a construction project.

Afterward, they visited the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine laboratory.  Soon, Her Majesty and  Grand Duke Henri attended a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker and held at Château de Bourglinster.

In the evening, Queen Beatrix along with the Grand Ducal couple  and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume attended a classical music concert.

Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands State Visit to Luxembourg Has Begun: Day One (VIDEOS)

On March 20, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands arrived in Luxembourg to begin her three-day state visit to the lovely grand duchy.

Upon her arrival, at the Grand Ducal Palace, Her Majesty was greeted by Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa as the Dutch and Luxembourg national anthems played.  After meeting local dignitaries, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix, Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume attended a private luncheon in the Grand Ducal Palace. Afterward, Her Majesty participated in a wreath laying ceremony held at the Monument National de la Solidarité Luxembourgeoise along with various government officials.

Soon, it was time to return to the Grand Ducal Palace whereupon Her Majesty held a meeting with government officials and local dignitaries.  According to the official site for the government of Luxembourg, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix along with Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume participated in:

…a round table entitled “Strengthening Business Climate in Europe”, in the presence of the Minister of the economy and foreign trade, Etienne Schneider, and his Dutch counterpart Maxime Verhagen, as well as of a large number of business leaders.

Tonight there will be a gala dinner held at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg.

His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg Visits the Köhl AG Company

On February 28, 2012, His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg visited the company, Köhl AG.  The heir to the Grand Ducal throne was accompanied by the new Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Etienne Schneider.  During the visit Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume toured the company’s production facilities as well as mingled with Köhl AG employees.

Random Royal News Regarding Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria Theresa of Luxembourg and Prince Charles-Philippe d’Orleans, Duke of Anjou and the Duchess of Cadaval. Plus, New Photos of the Bikini Princess, Corinna von Hohenzollern.

On February 27, 2012, Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria Theresa of Luxembourg welcomed Red Cross volunteers to the Grand Ducal Palace for a reception.  The purpose of today’s event was to thank as well as honor the more than 70 volunteers who are committed to the Red Cross and to those who are “… the most vulnerable in the Luxembourg and abroad.”  

On February 22, 2012, Prince Charles-Philippe d’Orléans, Duke of Anjou and the Duchess of Cadaval brought home their daughter, Isabelle, from the hospital.  Click here to watch a video.

Finally, new photos were released of Carl Alexander Prinz von Hohenzollern’s press conference/photo-op/wedding reception held at Château du Bel Air.  The new royal couple looked incredibly happy as they sipped on Andres champagne whilst wearing Lederhosen.

A touching moment during the press conference/photo-op/wedding reception is when Frederic Faux Prince von Anhalt presented Corinna, the bikini princess, with a brand new tiara… from Claire’s Accessories.  Click here to view photos.
