On Monday, March 7, 2022, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco contributed to a collective art work entitled, Operation #8March Monaco.

According to the newspaper, Monaco Tribune, the collective art work was:

“…produced in partnership with the artist Anthony Alberti, aka Mr OneTeas, has a two-fold message: Protecting women’s rights and protecting the sea. And with good reason: According to the UN, 80% of those displaced by climate change are women and girls. ‘This painting symbolises the building block that everyone can contribute at their own level to change attitudes and society for a more egalitarian and sustainable future,’ explained Céline Cottalorda, Interministerial Delegate for Women’s Rights. ‘Together we can achieve great things and unite to defend women and the oceans.  This is the message we want to convey for March 8th.’ ”

Operation #8MarchMonaco will be revealed to the public at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco on March 8, 2022.

His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales Presents Medals to the Welsh Guards

On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, as Colonel of the Welsh Guards, presented the Operation SHADER Medals to members of the Welsh Guards at Combermere Barracks in Windsor.

On Monday, March 7, 2022, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited the Duchy of Cornwall.

During yesterday’s visit the future king visited the recently planted Royal British Legion Centenary Wood in Newquay. The Royal British Legion Centenary Wood was planted by The Duchy of Cornwall last year to mark the Centenary of the British Legion. The Duchy planted 100 trees creating a unique space where people can reflect and remember the service and sacrifice of the British Armed Forces for generations to come.

The Prince of Wales also visited the Lynher Dairies Cheese Company near Truro, England.

On Monday, March 7, 2022, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the inauguration of the Tour del Talento held at the Centro Cultural La Térmica y Auditorio Edgar Neville in Málaga, Spain.

According to the Spanish royal court the purpose of the Tour del Talento is to promote:

…a movement for and for the future of young people in Spain, thus generating a community of opportunities that connect, activate and enhance their talent.” 

Also, during yesterday’s event the Premio de Artes y Letras of the Fundación Princesa de Girona was proclaimed. The recipient of the award went to actress and writer, Ms. María Sanz Hervás.

TRHs Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg Host a Dinner at Château de Berg

On March 7, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg hosted a dinner for members of the Luxembourg government at Château de Berg.

On the evening of Monday, March 7, 2022, Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, as the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, participated in the virtual conference, Femina Vox: Faire Entendre la Voix des Femmes.

The event was hosted and organized by Ms. Guila Clara Kessous, Professor and Researcher at Harvard University, UNESCO Artist for Peace, and Ambassador for Peace of the Universal Circle of Ambassadors for Peace (Geneva).

Femina Vox was also held under the high patronage of the UNESCO and the Sorbonne Université.
