On Wednesday, December 2, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited the  Darlington Youth Offending Service (DYOS) in Darlington, County Durham.

According to the official website for the DYOS the organization works to support:

“…young people in the criminal justice system, using restorative justice interventions. This involves the young people who have offended meeting with victims in order to try and repair the harm that has been caused. In turn, this can reduce re-offending and help to establish strong ties with the community.”
