On Friday, December 4, 2015, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands hosted a luncheon at Paleis Noordeinde in Den Haag.
This afternoon’s gathering was held for 26 outstanding Dutch individuals who recently:
“…received a prize or other award for their achievements in areas of art, culture, media and journalism, science and business. [Their Majesties] wanted to offer a luncheon to express their appreciation for the people who have made such an extraordinary achievement.”
On Thursday, December 3, 2015, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain visited the new headquarters of the Cancillería de las Reales y Militares Órdenes de San Fernando y San Hermenegildo at the San Hermenegildo Chancellory in Madrid, Spain.
On the morning of Friday, December 4, 2015, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden met with the President of Afghanistan, Mr. Ashraf Ghani, at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
On Thursday, December 3, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden participated in the conference, Ohälsans Pris, in Stockholm. The purpose of yesterday’s gathering was to “…increase knowledge and awareness of the importance of preventing ill health…” according to the Swedish royal court.
On Thursday, December 3, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway attended a special Mass at the Church of St. Olav in Oslo. The Mass was held in remembrance of the innocent victims of the November 13, 2015, Paris terrorist attacks.
