(VIDEO) HM King Felipe VI of Spain Gives an Award to a Former L.A. Laker.

On the morning of Wednesday, July 15, 2015, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain presented the 2015 Premio Camino Real to Spanish-born and former Los Angeles Laker power-forward, Mr. Pau Gasol, at the Universidad de Alcalá in Alcalá de Henares.

Mr. Gasol, who currently plays for the Chicago Bulls, received the award for his great basketball career in the United States, his philanthropy and leadership skills, and for basically being an overall nice guy.

On the afternoon of Monday, July 13, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Galerie des Pêcheurs in Monte-Carlo to view the exhibition, Deux Univers pour une Planète, by Mr. Olivier Anrigo.

The exhibition “…focuses on the diversity of the species and ecosystems of our planet.”

(VIDEOS) Members of the Swedish Royal Family Celebrate Victoriadagen.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated her 38th birthday.  In the morning, the crown princess accompanied by her husband, HRH Prince Daniel, and their daughter, HRH Princess Estelle, and Their Majesties met with a crowd of well-wishers at Sollidens Slott in Öland.

Later in the day, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel along with Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl-Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden, Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Mr. Christopher O’Neill attended a concert in honor of Crown Princess Victoria’s birthday at the Borgholms Sports Arena in Öland.

(VIDEOS) HM Queen Mathilde of Belgium Attends the Start of the 2015 Te Gek !? Tour de France.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the start of the 5th Edition of the Te Gek?! Tour de France, a mental disease awareness campaign, at Place des Palais in Brussels.  The theme of this year’s edition is “…youth and mental health…” according to the Belgian royal court.

Prior to the start of the event Her Majesty met with several representatives from Te Gek?! at the Palais de Bruxelles.

(VIDEO) HRH Prince Harry of Wales Makes a Big Announcement.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Kensington Palace released a videotaped message from His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales.  In the message, the popular prince announced that the 2016 Invictus Games will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on May 8-12, 2016.

Teams from around the world will complete in various events including archery, cycling, indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, triathlon, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis.

On Monday, July 13, 2015, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain welcomed the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Werner Iohannis, and his wife, Ms. Carmen Iohannis, at Palacio de La Zarzuela in Madrid.

After a photo-op for the press Their Majesties hosted a luncheon in honor of President Iohannis’s official visit to Spain.

(VIDEOS) Captain Wales Flies Again.

On Monday, July 13, 2015, Captain Wales — aka His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge — returned to the sky as an air ambulance pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) at Cambridge Airport.

The Associated Press reports that the duke will:

“…juggle his royal duties with nine-and-a-half hour shifts in the first few months — including night shifts — as part of a rotation where he will work four days and then have four days off. He’ll work less in the future to accommodate royal tasks.”

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Inaugurates a New Exhibit.

On Sunday, July 12, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurated the new exhibition, De Chagall à Malévitch: La Révolution des Avant-Garde, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte-Carlo.

The exhibition, developed in collaboration with the Groupe D’Amico and the Compagnie Monégasque de Banque, showcases over 150 major works by great artists who made up Russia’s avant-garde art scene from 1905 to 1930.  During that period various movements and schools developed, driven by the energy and wealth of creativity in the first part of the 20th century. Impressionism followed by Cubism, Futurism, Cubo-Futurism, Rayonism, Suprematism, Constructivism.

De Chagall à Malévitch: La Révolution des Avant-Garde will be open to the public until September 6, 2015.

(VIDEO) Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium Attends Mass on the Beach.

On Sunday, July 12, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium accompanied by her youngest daughter, Princess Eléonore, attended a special Mass and the Bénédiction de la Mer (Blessing of the Sea) on the beach in Blankenberge.

After Mass the Priest along with parishioners boarded several boats.  Then, the Priest said a prayer (to protect all fisherman and sailors), blessed the sea while the parishioners tossed flowers and garlands into the sea.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Celebrates the 5th Anniversary of the CREM.

Last week His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco celebrated the 5th anniversary of the Club des Résident Étrangers de Monaco (CREM) in Monte-Carlo.  The sovereign prince is Honorary President of the club.

The purpose of the CREM is to “…create a place where foreign residents can meet and help each other, to help the community and contribute to the development of the [principality], to reinforce Monaco’s reputation across the world, and to promote friendship among its members and good relations across different nationalities.”

(VIDEO) HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden Participates in a Race.

On Saturday, July 11, 2015, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden participated in the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) Race in Falkenberg, Sweden.  To everyone’s surprise the 36-year-old prince actually won the race.

Anyway, cheering on Prince Carl Philip was his wife of almost a month, Princess Sofia of Sweden, and His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
