On Tuesday, July 21, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the Summit of Conscience for the Climate conference in Paris, France.
Organized by Mr. Nicolas Hulot, founder of the Fondation Nicolas-Hulot and the President of the Special Envoy of the French President for the Protection of the Planet, the conference gathered world leaders, scientists, and activists to discuss the “…great challenge confronting [the world today]: how to limit global warming by taking real action, including reducing our consumption of fossil fuels…” and more.
During yesterday’s event attendees witnessed the launch of the campaign, Green Faith in Action. The campaign is a “…global initiative stemming from a coalition of partners with the objective of rendering pilgrimage destinations of all religious and spiritual persuasions, low-carbon cities resilient to climate disruptions.”
