On July 9, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh “…review[ed] The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeoman of the Guard and afterwards give a reception at Buckingham Palace in London…”
On the afternoon of Thursday, July 9, 2015, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge hosted a reception for England Women’s World Cup team at Kensington Palace in London. The team won the Bronze Medal during the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Vancouver, Canada.
On Thursday, July 9, 2015, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge visited the Imperial War Museum (IWM) in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, to receive a newly restored Supermarine Spitfire Mark I N3200. The Spitfire was donated to the museum by American philanthropist, Mr. Thomas Kaplan. The duke received the aircraft on behalf of the IWM.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco gave the closing speech during day one of the 2015 Rencontres Internationales des Voitures Écologiques (R.I.V.E.) conference in Alès, France.
The two-day event gathers “…stakeholders from the [green/environmentally friendly car sector] to meet and discuss the challenge they are facing…” as well as to view the technology in green cars.
Recently, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover presided over the 3rd Concours des Jeunes Créateurs de Monaco in Monte-Carlo. The theme of this year’s art competition was Contrast.
The lovely princess presented various awards for painting, photography, and graphic design.
On Thursday, July 8, 2015, Kensington Palace released the official photos from HRH Princess Charlotte of Cambridge’s christening. The images, shot by famed photographer Mr. Mario Testino, were taken inside Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Drawing Room as well as in the gardens at Sandringham House.
Kensington Palace released a press release regarding last Sunday’s christening stating:
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their whole family had a wonderful day on Sunday and were delighted to share the special occasion with the thousands of people who came to Sandringham. They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do.”
The little princess was christened on July 5, 2015, at the St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate.

On Thursday, July 9, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands opened the center, Leontienhuis, in Zevenhuizen.
Leontienhuis, named after former Dutch racing cyclist Ms. Leontien Zijlaard-van Moorsel and founder of Stiching Leontien, is a center which provides professional help as well as support for individuals suffering from eating disorders.
