On Monday, July 6, 2015, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales began his five-day visit to Wales. This morning the future king met with cricket teams from Australia and England at the SSE SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.
In the afternoon, The Prince of Wales visited the recycling charity, Too Good To Waste, in Rhondda Cynon Taff. According to Clarence House, the charity:
“…sells unwanted household items as well as providing training opportunities for low income families. The charity was set up after receiving help from The Prince’s Trust and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Too Good To Waste provides over 280 free furniture packages to people in need and supports 288 volunteers by giving them work-based training and experience.”
The day ended with a visit to HMP Parc where the prince met with “…young offenders taking part in a Get Started with Football programme run by The Prince’s Trust.”
