The duke arrives at the Centrepoint Support Centre
On the afternoon of November 22, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge officially opened the Haven Point Leisure Centre in South Shields.
In the morning, the duke visited the Centrepoint Support Centre (CSC) in Sunderland. According to the Associated Press the CSC provides:
“…accommodation for homeless young people and can house up to 18 young people at any time.
Residents can stay and receive high level support for up to three months. The service also offers training facilities to help young people with basic skills such as cooking, and to access further learning opportunities.”

On Friday, November 22, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales accompanied by his teammates left Cape Town, South Africa, and headed towards Antarctica to begin the Walking with the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge.
Six hours later the prince and his teammates finally arrived in freezing Antarctica.

Earlier this week, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, on the occasion of Fête Nationale 2013, presented the Ordre de Saint-Charles to various men and women for their service to the sovereign prince or to the Principality of Monaco (hence the State).
The Ordre de Grimaldi was also presented to several men and women who have “…contributed to the prestige of the Principality with distinction…” according to the Palais Princier.
On November 21, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain and His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias visited His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain at the Hospital Universitario Quirón in Pozuelo de Alarcon, Spain, after having a two-hour operation on his left hip.
The king’s surgeons “…removed the temporary prothesis and implanted a permanent one…” according to a spokesman for the Spanish royal court. His Majesty is expected to remain in the hospital for another week.
On the evening Thursday, November 21, 2013, Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan accompanied by their youngest son, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah, welcomed home the Jordan National Football Team at Amman-Marka International Airport.
The Jordanian team recently played against Uruguay National Football Team in Montevideo.
On the occasion of Fête Nationale 2013 His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco presented Médailles du Mérite National du Sang and Médailles de la Reconnaissance de la CRM to various Monégasque officials and citizens on November 18, 2013, at the Palais Princier.
