On November 7, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2013 Peace and Sport Awards held at Sporting Monte-Carlo in Monaco. During this evening’s event it was announced that Princess Charlene was appointed Ambassador for Peace.
Yesterday, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended the opening of the 7th Peace and Sport International Forum and Workshops held at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel. This morning the sovereign prince attended the session/lecture entitled, Sport: A Peace Building Tool at the Service of Governments, held at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
On the morning of Thursday, November 7, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived in Liège to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company, Le Perron.
According to the Belgian royal court the company employs people with physical and mental disabilities. During her visit Her Majesty meet with staff, employees and toured various workshops.
On Thursday, November 7, 2013, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium held an audience with the President of South Korea, Park Geun-hye, at Château de Laeken. After the meeting His Majesty hosted a dinner in honor of President Guen-hye according to the Belgian royal court.
On November 7, 2013, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex was officially installed as the 5th Chancellor of the University of Bath in South West England. The ceremony took place inside Bath Abbey in front “…240 dignitaries and university staff…”
According to the official website for the University of Bath as Chancellor The Earl of Wessex will “…preside over meetings of the Court, confer degrees at graduation and otherwise represent the University.”

On a dreary and cold Thursday morning His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark hosted the traditional Kongejagt (King’s Hunt) at Gludsted Plantage where a bunch of men felt incredibly good about themselves by slaughtering innocent and beautiful animals for fun.
On November 7, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge “…surprised hundreds of commuters as they travelled on a 1960s Routemaster bus to High Street Kensington station where they met military personnel and volunteers supporting London Poppy Day…” according to Kensington Palace.
Thereafter, the duke arrived at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton to “…observe a surgery of the removal of a bladder tumor on a male patient…”

On Thursday, November 7, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands celebrated the 400th anniversary of Weeshuis (Orphanage House) in Buren.
According to RVD, the orphanage was established in 1613 by Princess Mary, daughter of Prince William of Oranje. During today’s visit the princess met with staff and youth as well as unveiled a new statue designed by artist, L. Knol, in the gardens of the orphanage.
