On the morning of November 14, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the Manchester Piccadilly Station in Manchester for a day visit.
Today, Her Majesty and the duke toured the Factory Youth Zone in Harpurhey and officially opened the new headquarters of the Co-operative Group.

On November 14, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands arrived at the Koninklijk Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to attend the 20th Anatomy Lesson organized by the Academisch Medisch Centrum and the Volkskrant in collaboration with the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
On Thursday, November 14, 2013, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived on the island of Saba for a one-day visit.
This morning Their Majesties attended a reception at the Juancho E. Yrausquin International Airport where they met with local officials and students from “…the Sacred Heart and Saba Comprehensive School…” according to Saba News.
Soon, Their Majesties visited the Spring Bay Heritage Trail where they unveiled a “…new information board at the start of the trail…” An hour and a half later the reigning couple arrived at the Organoponics Farm where they were given a tour and tasted organic produce grown on the farm.
Thereafter, Their Majesties watched a cultural presentation at Princess Juliana Sports Field, attended a reception and luncheon held in their honor with local government officials, and visited the EU Under the Hill Social Housing Project where they met with residents as well as toured several homes.
On the afternoon of November 14, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived at the BTC Conference Center-Espace Jacqmotte in Brussels to attend the 10th anniversary of Toolbox.
According to AFP, Toolbox is “…a nonprofit organization [which] supports and improves the management structures of associations in the social sector…”
On November 14, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales participated in the “…launch of the Walking with the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge departure in Trafalgar Square in London…” according to Clarence House.

On the afternoon of November 14, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco welcomed the President of France, François Hollande, to the Palais Princier.
As I mentioned earlier this week the purpose of President Hollande’s one-day official visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries in various areas.
According to the Palais Princier “…agreements of cooperation in the field of the environment and sustainable development were signed as well as an agreement on Telework…”
After a nice luncheon at the Palais Princier the sovereign prince and President Hollande visited the Venturi Automobiles, a company which manufactures electric cars as well as visited the Centre Scientifique de Monaco.

In other news, it was recently announced that Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco, as Honorary President, will attend the Monaco Against Autism Charity Gala Dinner to be held in the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo on November 15, 2013.
During Friday’s gala there will be an auction sale by Sotheby’s as well as a musical performance by the legendary band, Earth, Wind and Fire.
