TMs King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium Visit Namur. (VIDEOS)

PMBelgiumOn Wednesday, October 2, 2013, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the city of Namur.  Upon their arrival at Place Saint-Aubain Their Majesties were warmly welcomed by hundreds of locals as well as by the governor and the mayor of Namur.

Thereafter, Their Majesties attended a reception held in their honor at the Palais Provincial de Namur where they listened to various welcoming speeches, received gifts, and signed the Livre d’Or (guestbook).

After the reception, Their Majesties visited the Musée Provincial des Arts Anciens du Namurois where they were given a private tour of the lovely museum.  Soon, the reigning couple attended a luncheon meeting at the Théâtre Royal de Namur, and then completed a walkabout where they shook hands with hundreds of locals who were happy to met their new king and queen.

News Regarding Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. (VIDEO)

qeii-2012On October 1, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II opened the £110 million NHS Grampian Emergency Care Centre, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s Foresterhill campus in Aberdeen, Scotland.

According to the newspaper, Northampton Herald & Post, the new center will “…provide emergency care and specialist support for cancer, heart and blood patients.”

Her Majesty also opened the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at the International School of Aberdeen according to the British royal court.

His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain Has Been Discharged From the Hospital. (VIDEO)

His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain has been discharged from the Hospital Universitario Quirón in Madrid this afternoon.  Prior to his release Ms. Lucía Alonso, managing director of the hospital, held a press conference regarding His Majesty’s condition.  Overall, the old king is recovering quite well.

His Majesty King Juan Carlos I had surgery on his artificial left hip, which developed an infection, and was replaced with a new one on September 24, 2013.
